I enjoyed Tuesday’s workout. It was a full noon class, which seems to be a growing trend. From a workout perspective, specifically the AMRAP, I chose to go the HSPU route. The past few times I’ve done this, I’ve tweaked a muscle in my lower neck…tends to nag me for a few days. I think it’s because I get lazy with my arms and shoulders, then when I kip, I put a lot of pressure on my neck. This time through I made extra sure to keep my shoulders and arms active to keep the load off of my neck and all was fine – though more difficult to manage late into the workout. The other thing that I find more challenging, personally, is doing T2B using the bars that are more textured. I find my grip tends to slip more on those bars whereas I tend to be a bit “stickier” on the smoother bars. Anyone else notice that?
