This couplet requires strength, stamina, and coordination to move efficiently through all 5 rounds.

This should take 6:00-10:00. The double-under volume and snatch loading should be manageable, but the challenge is in the way these movements interfere with each other.

Complete the double-unders in 1:00 or less throughout the workout; scale volume or to single-unders as needed.

Choose a snatch load that you can move for 5 GOOD unbroken reps in the warm-up. Scale accordingly so you can complete the reps in under 1:00 and never longer than 1:30.

Newer athletes may perform snatches with a PVC pipe to prioritize speed during the workout if unable to move a barbell safely AND quickly.
