Welcome to another promising week at CrossFit ATP as each day holds potential for you to see growth inside and out of the gym. This week’s programming holds a great variety of challenges for each of us, benchmark WODs, lifting, cardio, and just some good ole fashioned CrossFit. With our community, we will tackle each day with grit and determination and celebrate each other’s victories along the way. Let’s get after it this week and crush our goals!

Whiteboard of the Day

Today’s workout is a shorter, heavier couplet.

Choose a moderate-to-heavy power snatch load and shoot for fast singles complete in no more than 1 minute each round throughout the entire workout. Performing singles will save your grip for the toes-to-bar reps.

Advanced athletes should challenge themselves to hold onto the bar.

Scale toes-to-bar range of motion as needed to perform toes-to-bar reps in 2 sets or less through the early rounds; as grip fatigue sets in, fast singles are ok if needed through the final minutes of the workout.

Before starting the workout, we will spend 10 minutes building up to a heavy 1-rep hang power snatch to get a better idea of what weight you should use in the workout.

Following the workout, stick around and spend some time stretching before leaving the gym.
