YOGA TONIGHT AT 6 PM!

BIG shoutout to everyone who showed up on Saturday for AMRAP 4 Autism, whether you worked out or came to cheer everyone on, thank you for making it such a great community event! Let's take that same energy and bring it into this new week! Remember, fitness provides you the ability to say YES to experiences. Your kids want to go play ball in the park? YES! Your spouse wants to take the dogs for a hike? YES! You want to go do a triathlon? YES! So think about that this week when your tired and want to just skip it, every time you show up to the gym, you are building the capacity to experience life to the fullest. LET'S GET AFTER IT!

Whiteboard of the Day

Today’s workout is a classic heavy day that aligns with this month’s focus on heavy lifts.

Look back to February of this year to find your recent 3-rep deadlift for comparison and to help gauge your loads today.

Plan to lift a heavy deadlift load relative to your capacity, starting your first set light and adding load as feels good for today.

Newer athletes and those who struggle to maintain sound mechanics on the deadlift will lift sets of 5 at lighter loads to continue to work on technique.

To keep everyone on pace with lifting, we will perform a set every 3 minutes so that you have around 2:30 before hitting your next set.
