Today’s workout is a fun partner twist on the CrossFit benchmark, Kelly. Be prepared for a grind today.
Kelly is a longer workout, but one that you should be able to keep moving through, especially because the work is shared.
Shoot for large chunks of box jump and wall-ball shot reps, but transition quickly as soon as you start to slow down.
Run together as a pair and shoot to complete every 400-m run in 2:30 or less; scale distance if needed.
Faster pairs should push the pace on the run and complete the box jumps and wall-ball shots in large sets.
Newer athletes should work to identify a steady, sustainable pace with moderate rest breaks while one partner works.
A single round should not take more than 5:00 to complete. If you look up at the clock and it says 5:30 after your first round, expect a mid-workout scaling.

5 rounds for time with a partner:
400-m run
30 box jumps (20/24 in)
30 wall-ball shots (14/20 lb)
Divide box jumps and wall-ball shots as needed.
