Welcome to another week of opportunity to grow inside and outside of the gym! As we continue into the dog days of summer heat, allow that to be just one more challenge you can overcome and come out stronger on the other side. Push through the discomfort knowing that each sweat-soaked session brings you closer to your goals.
That being said, please continue to hydrate well with lots of water and electrolytes this week.
We look forward to seeing each and every one of you in the gym being stronger today than yesterday.

Whiteboard of the Day
Today’s workout is a heavy day. Keep in mind that heavy is relative to each person. The load will also be limited to your capacity/technique with each movement.
Each working set should require all of your focus and attention. Aim to begin your first set at a moderate load and then continue to build across as many sets as possible.
Each set of 6 reps (3 cleans, 2 front squats, and 1 jerk) should be unbroken for the set to count. If you fail at any point in the complex, you should still count that set, however, consider reducing the load for the next.
You can choose to either power clean or squat clean and to push jerk or split jerk.
Following the lifting for today, stick around and spend some time stretching before leaving the gym.
