Workouts for EVERY LEVEL at Friday Night Lights, and it is okay if you can't make all the events!

Whiteboard of the Day

Today is an opportunity to improve your snatch and test your current 1-rep-max while dialing in technique.

The loading should get increasingly heavier as reps decrease and each lift should require your complete focus.

Hit the sets of 5 and 3 as quick singles.

Perform a new lift every 2:00-3:00. If you feel like you are ready for your next lift after :30 of rest, go heavier.

If you struggle to receive the barbell in a full overhead squat position, focus on getting more comfortable in the bottom during the warm-up with a PVC. This receiving position takes time and practice, and today is a great opportunity to get better. Resist the urge to add more weight and return to old habits.

After the workout, we’ll spend time continuing to dial in snatch mechanics with work on the snatch pull.
